Rae, the Kage Skin Care guide, at her vanity with serum and cream

By Rachel Hawkins, licensed esthetician, 25+ years · November 2026

As skin matures, cell turnover slows, skin holds less moisture, and years of sun start to show. You don't need a 12-step routine. You need the right few steps, done consistently.

Morning

  1. Cleanse gently with the Gentle Cleanser.
  2. Add an antioxidant with the Vit C Serum.
  3. Hydrate with the Hyaluronic Serum.
  4. Protect with Morning Moisture SPF 30, the most effective anti-aging step there is.

✨ Ask Rae: Daily SPF plus gentle exfoliation are the two habits that change mature skin the most.

Evening

  1. Cleanse.
  2. Exfoliate 3–4 nights a week with the Scrub for smoother, brighter-looking texture.
  3. Serum with the Anti-Aging Serum or Vit A Serum.
  4. Nourish with the EGF Cream or Moisture Balance Cream.

Weekly extra

The Pumpkin Enzyme Mask gives a gentle, glow-boosting exfoliation once a week. The Renew Kit bundles a core routine.

FAQ

Is it too late to start? Never. Skin responds to good care at any age.

Do I still need to exfoliate? Yes, gently. Slower turnover makes exfoliation even more helpful.

What's the one product not to skip? Daily SPF.

Ask Rae: take the skin quiz and get matched to the right Kage products for your skin, the same way Rachel would in her treatment room.
